The Bejewelled Bat is an enormous, ancient, immortal bat- an old goddess and a wizard, nearly blind, and rich with magic. The Bejewelled Bat lives on an island in the centre of a hidden bay forever wreathed in fog, and grants the wishes of the shipwrecked sailors and lost lovelorn souls lucky enough to wash up on her shore.
